Liquids on board

Travelling by plane means that there are restrictions on bringing liquids on board, but not all liquids are subject to these restrictions and those travelling with children fall into the exception.

Children's food and drinks necessary for the duration of the flight are exempt from restrictions on hand luggage liquids, although the accompanying adult may be requested to sample the contents. Also, the quantity must correspond to the duration of the flight.

It is important to remember that all food and drinks brought for the child must be kept within the hand luggage, which in turn must fit within the baggage restrictions of the chosen flight company: after being removed for inspection, they must be returned into the hand luggage.
